Home Fragrance

Parkminster

It was fourteen years ago when Krystyna Patey, inspired by her own cottage named 'Little Parkminster', embarked on her entrepreneurial journey. Seeking quality home fragrances and bath products at reasonable prices, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create a distinctive range herself.

Every single item they make is still meticulously handcrafted in small batches. Krystyna and her team craft every product by hand, from blending the fragrances to pouring and packaging, always in small batches in their small workshop beside the Helford River in Cornwall.

Scented candles and home fragrance products are crafted solely from natural plant-based materials, including essential oils and soy wax, all sourced sustainably.

As an environmentally conscious brand, they advocate the principles of 'reduce, reuse, and recycle,' and are consistently striving to minimise their environmental impact.

Pepper You

Born from a love of creating and a fascination with the journey of imagination to a physical product, these are little pieces of art for your ears.
We strongly believe in quality over quantity and that we should buy less and cherish the items we choose for longer.
Each piece of jewellery will be slightly different because they are all hand crafted by our small team in our Sussex shop/studio.
None of their packaging includes single use plastic and they are partnered with Ecologi, meaning a tree is planted for every unit sold.

Pigeon

John Morse-Brown came up with the idea of Pigeon after he fell out of love with social media.

He came to realise that most, if not all, of his online interactions were pretty negative. Either he was compulsively checking his posts for ‘likes’, or he was getting annoyed by people showing off and oversharing.

Of course, John loves his friends. But all that frantic activity was not fostering a genuine sense of connection - quite the opposite. It left him feeling hollow and empty. So he took the plunge and closed his social media accounts.

But then a good friend of his moved to the United States. And that meant he'd have to find a new way of keeping in touch. No more hanging out at his place or trips to the pub!

And that got John thinking. As a graphic designer with a mechanical engineering degree, who happens to love origami, this looked like a fun problem to solve... What was needed, he decided, was a way of making letter writing fun, new, beautiful, and easy.

And Pigeon is the result!

Pivot

Founder, Alice, was inspired to start Pivot after her involvement with Year Here and working with Fat Macy's in a local homeless shelter. She witnessed the barriers faced by people in hostels, such as limited work opportunities and access issues. Alice saw an opportunity to address these challenges while shifting the narrative around homelessness.

Pivot offer paid employment, coaching and skills to individuals who lack access to such opportunities. Through our jewellery making programmes, we provide income and skills training, enabling our participants to take steps towards independence from temporary accommodation.

Puzzle Post

We are Bobbie and Will, and we are the creators of Puzzle Post. As fans of escape rooms, board games, crossword puzzles, quizzes, and also receiving post – Puzzle Post was a natural next step.

We’ve always loved a brain teaser and there really is no better feeling than finally cracking the puzzle that the rest of the room thinks is still impossible. We were struck with the idea of how to personalise the experience, and loved the idea of being able to offer a bespoke ‘reward’ at the end of it. Imagine if you didn’t know what was going to happen at the end (or indeed who you might see!), and for us, this was how Puzzle Post was born.

Most of all, Puzzle Post has been a lot of fun - from creating our first prototypes in our kitchen, persuading friends and family that they really do want to play tester, to finally pressing the button on our first order - we have loved every minute of it. And what we really want, is for you to love it too…

Stolen Form London Brick Vase

Stolen Form

Stolen Form is a concept brand launched in 2012 that specialises in replicating industrial objects, transforming
them into ceramic products for the home.

Christian, the designer behind the brand has long been inspired by the urban environment; journeying through the streets led him to notice the ubiquitous and foundational features of a city that are so often overlooked: a brick, a manhole cover over a drain or a piece of piping could be reclaimed and elevated to a new level of function and aesthetic value.

Each product is individually handmade in Stoke-On-Trent using the traditional production technique slip casting and finished in a variety of on-trend gloss colours.

Studio Wald

Founded by husband & wife team Freya & Jakob, our collection of paper goods, products and prints are made in England with great care and attention to ideas, pattern and print processes. Based on the riverside in Leeds, Yorkshire, we work responsibly and sustainably with producers and all products pass through our studio for screenprinting or compiling before heading out to customers.

Paper products and packaging are printed and finished in our home county using mainly 100% recycled materials. Product components such as twine, cork, envelopes and even hooks are sourced from manufacturers in either England or Europe. We have also developed into somewhat a family business. Jakob’s mother, Ulrike Rost, is an artist and we have used elements of her incredible Lino print work, both current and archival, to develop patterns for our designs. We also sell her original Linocut Prints which are printed on the roller press in our workshop.

Wellbeing

Vesta Living

Vesta Living Was Founded By Bryony In 2018 In Response To The Increasing Pressure Of Single Use Products On Our Environment.

Vesta produces reusable cotton wipes for the body and the home, with the intention of replacing single use disposable wipes that do not degrade and clog our sewer systems causing millions of pounds worth of damage each year. Not to mention those ingested by sea creatures such as turtles, who mistake wipes that find their way into our oceans for jelly fish. They clog their systems and cause starvation.

Washed Up Cards

Hello! I’m Flora from Washed Up Cards!

Just before the pandemic I went on a beach clean event and it really hit home the importance of communities coming together to bring positive change. Not only is it great for the environment, it's brilliant for mental health, it helps you to connect with nature and ultimately, it brings so much joy!

This inspired me to create Washed Up, a social enterprise that aims to promote wellness through group beach cleans and workshops to create products from the plastic and rubbish we collect.

Washed Up Cards has emerged from this. We create beautiful handmade cards where you can repurpose trash and also spread a message of goodwill, hope and care for the planet we live in. We can't all do everything, but Washed Up Cards helps you discover the small things you can do to make the world a slightly better place.
